The CO2 laser treatment is for rejuvenation of the skin on the face and body. The laser works well for deeper wrinkles, scars, acne scars, and also tightens the skin. HOW DOES THE CO2 LASER WORK? Fractional lasers like the CO2 work at a cellular level in the skin to produce natural, long-lasting benefits. The device creates micro-channels in the dermal layers at addressed depth to target the patient’s precise concerns and goals. These controlled injuries stimulate the body’s regenerative process, including cell renewal and collagen production. The treatment is comfortable for patients after the application of a topical anesthetic. Recovery is usually 3-14 days, during which the skin may flake and peel. A single treatment produces dramatic and long-lasting results. WHAT DOES THE CO2 LASER TREAT? With its ability to work deeply into the dermal layers, CO2 laser is a good treatment option for the following concerns: Aging symptoms, like fine lines and wrinkles Sun damage, including brown spots Scarring from acne and other factors Rough or uneven skin texture Pigmentation irregularities WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS? Your results will become apparent once your skin is fully healed. That timeframe varies based on the depth of your procedure. Superficial treatments do not require downtime and the results typically appear within about 1 week and last for 6 months to 1 year. More intense treatments may have up to 1 week of downtime and it may take results up to 1 month to develop. However, those results may last many years for some patients. HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY TIME AFTER TREATMENT? Recovery time will vary substantially based on the depth and intensity of your treatment. Healing from CO2 laser usually takes 3-14 days, although redness and swelling could linger a bit longer. Most clients head back to regular activities within about one week. HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED? Clients often achieve their full results with a single treatment session. However, others might require a series of appointments to produce an optimal outcome. ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS? Side effects can vary based on the treatment depth. Light treatments may be accompanied by redness and mild swelling that lasts only few days. Clients that undergo deep treatments might experience redness, burning, and peeling that is a part of the natural exfoliation process.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULE OF APPOINTMENTS ​ Permanent Beauty Aesthetics operates on a 48 hour cancellation policy. Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure that we are able to maximise our appointment availability for all of their clients. This ensures that we are able to offer a cancelled appointment time to a client who needs it. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you call us at least 48 hours before your appointment. Any cancellation within 48 hours will result in your treatment being redeemed, or payment protection policy being applied, and your card will be charged. The below table indicates the charges within each notice period, which applies to pre-paid treatments from a package, single treatments, consultations and other paid appointments. Booking type | Single service or consultation | Value packages Notice No show: Charge 100% - This applies to clients who do not attend their appointment, with no attempt to cancel. Within 24 hours: Charge 50% - This applies to clients who cancel or re-book within 24 hours and up to the appointment time. Within 48 hours: Charge 25% - This applies to clients who cancel or re-book within 48 hours to 24 hours prior to their appointment. No show, or cancellation within 48 hours: Treatment forfeit - Clients with a value package will forfeit one treatment for every appointment that is cancelled in under 48 hours or a no show. DEPOSITS Our Aesthetic Consultations are complementary, however a small deposit to secure the time slot (Aesthetic Consultation like for lip fillers or some other treatments - £25). Should you not wish you go ahead with the suggested treatment your deposit will be refunded. If you wish to book a treatment on the day, a deposit will be taken for the treatment. The deposit amount will depend of the price of the treatment that you wish to have. Should you not want to go ahead with the treatment or if you are unsuitable for the treatment the deposit fee is non refundable.
