Whether you are bothered by sun spots, freckles, patches of darker colouring, redness, or a combination of concerns, a series of treatments may be the solution for you. Which areas can be treated? Virtually any part of the body with sun or age spots or freckles can be safely treated. The face, chest, shoulders, and arms are the most popular areas for treatment because they typically get the most sun. Both discrete spots and skin densely covered with freckles respond well to the treatment. What do the treatments feel like? When the hand piece is placed on your skin, it will feel cool and comfortable. When the pulse of light is delivered, you may feel a mild, brief pinching sensation. Unlike other systems, the IPL treatments require no topical anaesthetic. How many treatments will I need? Typically 1 to 4 treatments are sufficient to see dramatic results. Additional treatments may be required for very large or dark spots or for densely covered areas. What happens after the treatment? Are there any side effects? Immediately following the treatment, the spots may start to darken. You may notice a slight reddening of the surrounding skin. This typically subsides within a couple of hours. Over the course of the next 1 to 3 weeks, darkened spots will fade and flake off. Will the spots reappear over time? If you do not look after your skin with an appropriate skin care routine after your treatment, the spots may reappear. Ensure you apply sunscreen with at least an SPF 30 to minimise the likelihood of them coming back and to keep new spots from appearing. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULE OF APPOINTMENTS Permanent Beauty Aesthetics operates on a 48 hour cancellation policy. Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure that we are able to maximise our appointment availability for all of their clients. This ensures that we are able to offer a cancelled appointment time to a client who needs it. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you call us at least 48 hours before your appointment. Any cancellation within 48 hours will result in your treatment being redeemed, or payment protection policy being applied, and your card will be charged. The below table indicates the charges within each notice period, which applies to pre-paid treatments from a package, single treatments, consultations and other paid appointments. Booking type | Single service or consultation | Value packages Notice No show: Charge 100% - This applies to clients who do not attend their appointment, with no attempt to cancel. Within 24 hours: Charge 50% - This applies to clients who cancel or re-book within 24 hours and up to the appointment time. Within 48 hours: Charge 25% - This applies to clients who cancel or re-book within 48 hours to 24 hours prior to their appointment. No show, or cancellation within 48 hours: Treatment forfeit - Clients with a value package will forfeit one treatment for every appointment that is cancelled in under 48 hours or a no show. DEPOSITS Our Aesthetic Consultations are complementary, however a small deposit to secure the time slot (Aesthetic Consultation like for lip fillers or some other treatments - £25). Should you not wish you go ahead with the suggested treatment your deposit will be refunded. If you wish to book a treatment on the day, a deposit will be taken for the treatment. The deposit amount will depend of the price of the treatment that you wish to have. Should you not want to go ahead with the treatment or if you are unsuitable for the treatment the deposit fee is non refundable.
