Service Description

Effective Laser Hair Removal: How It Works Laser hair removal is a safe, effective way to achieve smooth skin. It uses selective photothermolysis, where laser light targets melanin in hair follicles. The absorbed light converts to heat, damaging the follicle and reducing regrowth. This works best during the active growth phase (anagen). Consultation & Patch Test A consultation and laser patch test are required before treatment. Book your appointment today! Treatment Recommendations Sessions Required: At least 4 sessions, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart, based on the treatment area. Lighter or Thinner Hair: May require 5–6 sessions for best results. Who Should Avoid Laser Hair Removal? Not suitable for individuals with: ✔ Pregnancy ✔ Cancer ✔ Hormonal therapy with photosensitizing hormones ✔ Albinism ✔ Psoriasis ✔ Epilepsy ✔ Proneness to keloids ✔ Active skin infections ✔ Tattoos in the treatment area Preparing for Treatment Follow these guidelines for the best results: Skin Care: Keep skin moisturized and irritation-free before treatment. Shaving: Shave the treatment area before your session, leaving a small patch for assessment. Avoid Root Hair Removal: No tweezing, waxing, or epilating for: 4 weeks before facial treatments 6 weeks before body treatments (Shaving is allowed; stop using depilatory creams a week before treatment.) Skin Products: Avoid products with vitamins A, C, E, retinoids, or fruit acids for 4 weeks. Stop exfoliants 1 week prior. Medications: Stop photosensitizing medicines or herbs (e.g., St. John’s Wort) 1 week before treatment. Oral retinoids require a 6-month gap. Skin Condition: Avoid treatment if you have active skin infections (e.g., herpes). Wait 2 weeks after recovery. Tanning: Avoid sunbeds, spray tans, and tanning for 4–6 weeks before treatment.
